State Treasurer Roby Smith awarded the Fitch Family of West Des Moines with a $1,000 ISave 529 contribution from the Iowa State Fair Giveaway. Jenney Fitch’s entry for her 13-year-old daughter was drawn as the winner.

It’s a pleasure to present today’s check to the Fitch family and help get their daughter one step closer to making her educational dreams a reality.”
Fitch’s daughter, Peyton, was presented a check for the $1,000 contribution during a formal presentation in the State Treasurer’s Office in the Iowa Capitol Building.
“We appreciate Treasurer Smith for presenting this $1,000 ISave 529 contribution to Peyton so she can chase her educational dreams in the future,” said Jenney Fitch, mother of the winner. “This will make a lasting difference when she pursues her dreams after high school!”
